Community Outreach

Our healthcare promise as a community partner extends beyond the walls of our hospitals and clinics. Willis Knighton Health cares about prevention and early detection of health concerns so we can help you heal. To that end, our community outreach program offers the following:

• Speakers. Community groups can contact us for speakers.  Please submit a speaker request at least 60 days in advance of your event. Submit a speaker request.
• Health fair support. Community health fairs that are open to the public and serve large numbers of people may request us to be present. Please submit a health fair request at least 90 days in advance of the event. Submit a health fair request.
• Programs and events.  Programs and groups open to the public take place on our campuses.  You can review options by clicking here. Key programs are also outlined in the Willis Knighton community calendar which is published monthly in 318Forum, a free distribution publication available throughout the community.
• Shots for Tots. Shots for Tots is a free mobile immunization program for children. You can find information  printed in 318Forum, Shreveport Sun and Bossier Press-Tribune or on our website.
• Healthcare organizations may request meeting space on our hospital Monday through Friday. Community event space is also available at the WK Innovation Center in Bossier City and WK Palmetto Clubhouse in Benton. Complete a Request for Meeting Space at least 90 days in advance of your event. Willis Knighton provides space only and does not include equipment or food service. Submit a meeting space request.
  
  

  This in-kind support is generally restricted to not-for-profit charitable organizations. Due to time and expense of staffing, preference is given to healthcare focused groups or programs and groups with 25 or more participants.

• Promotional products. Due to increased costs, promotional products are generally provided only at events sponsored by Willis Knighton.
