Peter Klucar, MD, has joined the Willis Knighton Physician Network, and will practice at Willis Knighton Family Medicine South - Susan Drive, 9111 Susan Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118. He provides primary care services to young adults through senior care, with additional focus on women’s health and preventive services.
A native of Slovakia, Dr. Klucar attended school and worked at medical universities in the United States since 1997. He completed his family medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. Prior to his medical education, he spent 12 years performing medical research. He has co-authored 16 peer-reviewed articles and holds two patents.
As a family physician, Dr. Klucar takes a team approach with his patients. “Us working together is what provides the joy in practice and family medicine,” he says.
Dr. Klucar accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
