Philips Dual-Energy Big Bore RT CT Simulator
A dual-energy Philips Big Bore RT CT simulator serves most of our radiation therapy (RT) imaging needs. Collecting high-quality, precise computed tomography (CT) images of patient anatomy is essential to create complicated treatment plans and radiation dose distributions required by modern radiation therapy methods.
Our dual-energy CT scanner is the first of its type in the world. Making use of the most advanced techniques to reduce imaging dose and improve image quality, it allows for improved visualization of both disease volumes and critical organs, resulting in more accurate dose calculations for all patients. The Philips Big Bore RT CT has an 85-centimeter-wide bore that can accommodate large body types.
Additionally, our CT Big Bore RT CT simulator is coupled with a C-RAD Sentinel 4D CT optical surface scanning system to provide 4D CT reconstruction along with reference images for patient positioning and intrafraction motion detection. A 4D CT simply correlates image acquisition with patient breathing patterns, allowing us to faithfully see where the therapy target is located during all phases of the breathing cycle. These tools are specifically designed to provide the most precise imaging available for the planning and delivery of your radiation therapy.
