John Leopard - Liver Transplant

It was scary and it was comforting at the same time, because I knew I was either gonna live or die with what was fixing to happen.

John Leopard had a genetic disorder (alpha one antitrypsin deficiency) that damaged his liver. As his condition deteriorated, he was placed on a waiting list for a transplant. Within six weeks, he received a liver at the Willis Knighton John C. McDonald Transplant Center.
