Patient Education

Your health and comfort matter to us. Tests and procedures can be stressful, and we want your experience to be as comfortable and positive as possible.

Please follow all instructions given to you by your doctor and review this information:

  • Arrive at your scheduled time. There is no reason to come early. A longer wait may add to your anxiety.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify your doctor’s office as soon as possible.

Bring the following items with you:

  • Insurance card/information
  • Medications you are currently taking or have taken recently (including over-the-counter medications or supplements)
  • List of questions or concerns for your doctor – just so you don’t forget

We’ll keep you and your designated support person informed throughout your care. For procedures, we ask that your support person or family stay in the building so we can give regular updates. If they need a meal or other refreshments, our cafeteria and vending areas are available. For more details, check out the visitor section of our online patient guide.
