Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT)
A cardiac CT (computed tomography) creates detailed images of the heart and blood vessels. Using these images, a 3D model of the heart can be seen, helping doctors identify or evaluate heart anatomy. Contrast is often used to help enhance resolution of certain structures of the heart.
