When the best medical treatment for a child is far from home, families don’t have to worry about where to stay.

The Ronald McDonald House Shreveport-Bossier opened in 2025 located on property provided by Willis Knighton Health at 9100 Susan Drive. The three-story home can accommodate 20 families who need It a warm, friendly place to stay when they have a child being cared for in a local hospital. All services are provided to families free of charge.

Local volunteers and donors also provide help in the form of meals, daily essentials for families, new toys for children and funds to sustain operations of the home.
