LPN

Are you an experienced LPN looking for flexible scheduling at Willis Knighton Health? If you have at least one year of LPN experience, WK Senior Care would love for you to join our FlexPool!

WKH Senior Care FlexPool offers flexibility and competitive pay for PRN (daily option) positions at the four facilities that make up WK Senior Care: Progressive Care Center, Health Center at Live Oak and Savannah Assisted Living. You’ll have a general orientation, followed by a more unit-specific orientation with a preceptor at each facility where you'll work. Applicants must have a current, unencumbered license with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing with at least one year of nursing experience.

CNA

If you are looking for a flexible schedule and have at least one year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience, WK Senior Care would love for you to join our FlexPool! We’re offering an opportunity for CNAs to choose their own shifts and units from the four facilities that make up WK’s Senior Care.

WKH Senior Care FlexPool offers flexibility and competitive pay for CNA (daily option) positions. This CNA will be provided with a general orientation, followed by a more unit-specific orientation with a preceptor at Progressive Care Center, Health Center at Live Oak and Savannah Assisted Living. Applicants must have a current Louisiana State Certification.

I have worked with Willis Knighton Health for over nine years; in the FlexPool for two years. As a mother of two young children and wife of a law enforcement officer, FlexPool is the perfect job for me. I was nervous to step outside my comfort zone and go to all the hospitals and meet all the staff but now I could not be happier. I have gained so much knowledge and made some wonderful friends as a FlexPool nurse. I have never missed a school play, field trip or had to say no to having lunch with a child. The management and staffing office are wonderful people that care about each employee and work with you however they can. I feel blessed beyond measure to be a WK FlexPool nurse.

I started working for Willis Knighton Health as a night shift nurse in June 2000. I decided to join the FlexPool team in 2008. I was reluctant at first but instantly realized it was the right decision for me and my family. I truly enjoy the varying challenges of working in different areas of nursing. It transformed me from a staff floor nurse to one that is highly diverse and ready to handle or tackle any challenge that is thrown at me. I also have the opportunity to learn from other professional nurses in varying departments and have made some great friends along the way. Lastly, by making my own schedule, I'm able to be with my family and friends during special moments or occasions.
