Recommendations for Better Legs

Take care of your legs to improve circulation and reduce discomfort. Here are some simple steps you can follow to keep your legs feeling well:

  • Stay active – Move your legs frequently with regular exercise, like walking or swimming, to improve blood flow and keep your veins healthy.
  • Elevate your legs – When you can, try to elevate your legs to encourage blood to flow back to your heart, especially if you’ve been on your feet all day.
  • Avoid long periods of inactivity – Try to move around every 30 minutes to keep your blood flowing and prevent stiffness or swelling.
  • Wear properly fit compression hose – These can help improve circulation and reduce swelling, especially if you spend long hours sitting.
  • Maintain a healthy weight – Keeping a healthy weight can reduce pressure on your veins and improve overall circulation.
  • Do not smoke – Smoking can damage your blood vessels and reduce circulation, making it harder for your body to heal and maintain healthy veins.
  • Avoid wearing high heels – High heels can strain your leg muscles and veins, so try to wear shoes with good support and lower heels to reduce pressure.

Small changes add up to make a big difference. If you have concerns or need advice on how to keep your legs healthy, we’re here to help guide you every step of the way.
